Cyclist pushed off bike at Confederation Park: Hamilton Police

Hamilton Police are searching for a man after a cyclist was assaulted at Confederation Park.

It happened on the waterfront trail, about 200 metres east of Wild Water Works, around 7 p.m. on Aug. 10.

Police say the 61-year-old cyclist was intentionally pushed from his bike while it was in motion.

He sustained significant injuries.

Police say the suspect was walking a small black dog and may have been with a female and two children.

Police provided this description:

  • 6’ 2″ tall with a large build, approximately 240lbs
  • White with short brown hair
  • Wearing a light blue t-shirt and dark athletic shorts
