Crash splits SUV, kills passenger, driver lives

19-year-old faces charge of impaired driving causing death.
Toronto police say it appears alcohol and speed are factors.
The driver is under arrest and his 24-year-old passenger is dead after a Range Rover hit a pole at a high rate of speed early Tuesday morning on Mount Pleasant Road near Eglinton Avenue.
Debris and glass covered a large area as the front and back ends as well as a crumpled door came to rest on different spots along Mount Pleasant Road.
