Crash sends man to hospital

Slippery wet roads may have been a factor in a crash that sent a 22 year old man to hospital in Welland this afternoon.

The collision happened at the intersection of Doan’s Ridge Road and East Main Street. It appears the man driving the car slammed into the back of a utility truck. The driver of the truck was not injured.
