Crash on Crooks Hollow Road

Hamilton police are investigating a serious crash involving a stolen van.

Police say the driver squarely hit a tree on Crooks Hollow Road near Highway 8 Thursday afternoon.

The van was reportedly stolen from a downtown Hamilton parking lot earlier in the day.

There were three men in the van and one is in hospital with life threatening injuries.

A second man was arrested near the scene and police are still searching for the third who fled the area.
