Crash backs up 403

There has been a multiple vehicle crash on highway 403 westbound, just west of highway 52.

A 23 year old woman has been taken by air ambulance to London’s Victoria Hospital. Firefighters from Hamilton and Brant county had to cut her out of the car.

The westbound highway 403 has reopened near Jerseyville Road, but only one lane is getting through. Traffic was still backed up for several kilometres at midday.
