Craft beer moves into Lakeport

If all goes according to plan, beer will once again be flowing at the old Lakeport Brewing facility in Hamilton by this fall. Burlington based Nickel Brook, and Collective Arts Brewing have teamed up with the Hamilton Port Authority to open a new brewery — bringing jobs and brewing back to the city.

You can still see the faded outline of the Lakeport sign on the front of the building. Soon, this portion of the plant will be knocked down, making room for a new craft brewery — Arts and Science brewing.
