COVID-19 outbreak in Lincoln makes up bulk of Niagara region’s new cases

Niagara Region’s public health unit says 45 COVID-19 cases are linked to an outbreak on an agricultural operation in Lincoln.
The health unit says the outbreak is workplace-related. The town confirmed One Floral Group in Jordan Station is the source.
All 45 cases among the migrant workers employed there are asymptomatic and no one has been hospitalized.
The flower farm has had to temporarily shut down because of the outbreak.
Public health says the risk to the public is minimal.
Niagara reported 63 new cases of the virus on Tuesday as the province recorded 1,388 new cases.
