COVID-19 outbreak declared at an inpatient unit at St. Joe’s

St Joe’s says six healthcare workers have tested positive for COVID-19.

The hospital saying 3 contracted the virus in the community. The unit impacted is a general internal medicine unit at the Charlton campus downtown.

The hospital says all patients and staff on the unit are being tested, and contact tracing is under way.

St Joe’s says any additional staff considered at risk have been sent home to self isolate pending test results.
