A Toronto couple, accused of leaving a 68-year-old woman to live for months in an unheated garage, will remain in jail for at least a couple more weeks.

They’ve been charged with failing to provide the necessities of life and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
The charges come as at least one senior citizen support group is calling for changes to the laws over elder abuse. Lisa Hepfner reports.
