Hamilton councillor Lloyd Ferguson has received a formal complaint over his confrontation with a journalist.

Last week, Ferguson got into an altercation with Joey Coleman, after a heated closed-door debate regarding the lease with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for the new stadium. Ferguson issued a formal apology in front of council Thursday morning, and Coleman says he accepted the apology.

Coleman says he’s not a part of the complaint.
