Convent housing plan in Dundas

A group of parents in Dundas, concerned about where their developmentally challenged children will live after they can’t care for them anymore, is taking on the provincial Liberals. The parents say they have a model that’ll ease the fears of thousands of parents who have nightmares about how their children will be looked after when they are gone.

The Dundas Living Centre group wants this convent here at the Sisters of St. Josephs to serve as a home for developmentally challenged adults who choose to live here. But there are many roadblocks preventing it from happening.
