Controversial rubber duckie arrives on the Toronto lakeshore

A highly anticipated, and criticized bath toy made a big splash at HTO Park on the Toronto lakeshore.

The world’s biggest rubber duck is now on display for all to see and while some are enjoying the larger than life inflatable, others aren’t so impressed.

The ducks name is Momma Duck; she’s 6 stories tall, 78 feet wide and weighs 30 000 pounds. She’s also the main attraction for the Redpath Canada 150 festival in Toronto this weekend. But the Ontario Director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation says Momma Duck is nothing but a colossal waste of money.
