Construction in Paris to close intersection on Sept. 14

The County of Brant will be closing the intersection of King Edward St. and Rest Acres Rd. for construction later this month.
The closure is scheduled to run from Sept. 14 to Sept. 25.
Crews will work on underground sewers, traffic signal installation, and paving.

Ontario Provincial Police is reminding drivers to be extra cautious while navigating through construction zones.
Drivers are being asked to slow down, watching for traffic directors and pedestrians and paying attention to “Road Closed” signs.
Police will be at the intersection to help monitor the area during the closure.
