Community rallies together to help Danne family

The community of Dundas came together over the weekend to find Finnigan Danne and were collectively crushed to learn that he had died. Ever since, the community stays united to help the Danne family through this unthinkable tragedy.

Finnigan would have been entering the seventh grade at Sir William Osler elementary school, his schoolmates sent their condolences to his family, especially Finn’s older brother Sebastian.

Yves Apel’s family is close with Finnigan’s mother who owns and operates a beauty salon in west Hamilton, he started a Go Fund Me account in hopes of helping his friends make ends meet. The goal is $50 000.

A vigil will also held for Finnigan Tuesday at 8:30pm at the corner of Anne Street and Sullivans lane, just steps away from where Finn was found. A group mothers in the Dundas area are organizing the event and ask that anyone attending bring their own candle.
