Community mailboxes trashed on Hamilton mountain

Four community mailboxes on Hamilton mountain have been vandalized.

The mailboxes on East 25th street were knocked over; others in the area were vandalized with graffiti. Canada Post says they were recently installed but aren’t in use yet, so customers will not be impacted.

They add postal workers will ensure the mailboxes are in proper working order before converting services for residents in the area. There’s no word yet on any charges being laid in the incident.
