Comedy house owner sentenced

Tony Gigliotti, the owner of the House of Comedy has been sentenced to 27 months in prison.

Earlier this year Justice Joseph Henderson found Giglioti guilty of extortion sexual favours from a young woman who was his employee.

Gigliotti gave the woman an ultimatum.

Either perform sex acts on him or he would tell the police she stole four wine coolers.

Justice Henderson delivered his sentence at the Welland courthouse Monday morning.
