Collisions plague morning commuters

Slick roads have resulted in a number of collisions this morning.

OPP are reporting more and more collisions; most of them minor, cars in ditches and guardrails. In some cases they involve more than one vehicle.

Around 5:00 on the eastbound 403 at Waterdown Rd a car rolled over and a man was trapped (image above). Burlington firefighters got him out. He was taken to the hospital.

Roads are plowed and while the may look dry, they are actually wet and slippery. Police are reminding drivers to go slow, leave space and drive safely with these winter conditions.
