Collision Reconstruction Unit investigates after Burlington man, 83, dies in crash

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating after an 83-year-old man died in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning in Burlington.
Halton police say it happened around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of King Rd. and Cedar Ave.
Officers say a blue-coloured Toyota Corolla was travelling southbound on King Rd. when it crossed over the centre line and struck a northbound tan-coloured Chevrolet Tahoe.
Paramedics brought the 83-year-old Burlington man driving the Toyota Corolla to a local hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
Police say the 75-year-old Burlington man driving the Chevrolet Tahoe suffered minor injuries.
King Rd. was closed from Cedar Ave. to Greenwood Dr. as officers investigated and cleaned up the scene for nearly six hours.
