Coleslaw recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination

A brand of pre-packaged coleslaw is being recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination.
Loblaw Companies Ltd. is recalling 397-gram bags of President’s Choice brand Coleslaw with best before dates of Dec. 4, 2019.
The affected product was sold in several provinces across Canada including Ontario.
The recall was triggered by test results from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the product.
Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections.
Anyone who has the products is being advised to throw it out or return to the store where it was purchased.
