The Royal Canadian Mint unveiled a number of collector coins Thursday, celebrating the birth of Prince George of Cambridge. They were designed by Guelph artist Laurie Mcgaw.

The first coin shows the initials of Will and Kate in gold in the centre, with tiny little baby objects surrounding the outer edge. The mint says a unique printing technique was used to bring out those elements to give it a 3-D effect.

The next is a 25 cent coin that shows a baby carriage, designed to celebrate the first few precious months with the newborn king.

There is also a coin collection set that includes three $20 dollar coins. One is called “Sweet Dreams”, another “Tender Bonds”, and the thrid “A Hopeful Future.”

A special gold coin will be presented to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
