OPP say the driver of the transport truck that rolled over in Caledonia yesterday, spilling 36,000 pounds of coal, is facing several charges.

Police say 37-year-old Daniel Solic from Stoney Creek was driving a tractor trailer south on Highway 6 in Caledonia near Greens Rd. around 8 a.m. yesterday morning. They say he didn’t make the curve in the road which caused the truck to rollover.

He wasn’t hurt in the crash but diesel fuel spilled onto the roadway.

Solic has been charged with several offences including careless driving.
