An annual tradition marking the unofficial end of summer kicks off this weekend in Toronto. This year at the Canadian National Exhibition there are some new things to see and do and some creative and outrages new foods. Like the churro cheeseburgers and pulled pork cinnamon rolls, but it gets even weirder from there.

“What we got here is a bacon wrapped hotdog deep fried with peanut butter and jelly, Captain Crunch cereal and some spicy mayo sauce.”

They’re even serving up bugs. Bug Bistro has beef hot dogs topped with slaw and crispy mustard crickets and they have what they call fritter critters, it’s a spring roll stuffed with meal worms, crickets cabbage and peppers.

Then of course there’s the entertainment. For the first time in 20 years The Ex has a water show- jumps, dips and tricks will be preformed twice daily.
