Closures due to storm

School closures and bus cancellations due to storm.

In Waterloo, all public and separate schools are closed Friday due to the impending storm.

Some buses in Wellington-Dufferin are cancelled. Buses are also cancelled in Dufferin County, as well as for the Peel District School Board, and the Dufferin-Peel District School Board.

In Halton, public and catholic buses are cancelled north of Steeles Avenue. Buses in York region are also cancelled, but all schools are open.

Power outages and downed trees on the Hamilton mountain have caused a number of school closures. Queen’s Rangers, Mount Hope, Ancaster Senior Public and Ancaster High School are all closed.

Also affected in Hamilton are Dundana Elementary, Beverly Central, Dr. John Seaton Elementary, Balaclava, and Fessenden are closed Friday.
