Closing arguments begin at Rafferty trial

Updated It is the beginning of the end in the trial of the man accused of killing Tori Stafford.

Today, a London courtroom heard Michael Rafferty’s lawyer deliver his closing argument. The defence’s goal was to paint Rafferty’s ex-girlfriend – and Tori’s convicted killer — Terri-Lynne McClintic as the ‘engine’ behind the crimes — and as a liar. The defence also wants the jury to see Rafferty as just an innocent bystander. Cristina Tenaglia has been following the case in London.
