Close race in Niagara Falls, St. Kitts

In Niagara Falls, it’s a horse race between NDP incumbent Wayne Gates and PC Bart Maves.
The two went head to head in February during the byelection. Gates won by just two percentage points.
Liberals aren’t expected to be much of a factor here. They pulled the slots out of the race track and threatened the local casinos by
saying they would put casinos all over the province.
While the Niagara Falls riding will be close, they say St. Catharines will be even closer.
Liberal Jim Bradley has been MPP in St. Catharines for 37 years, but in the last election he just squeaked by.
His closest challenger is PC candidate Mat Siscoe, a city councillor and high school
teacher who has been out explaining Tim Hudak’s tax reduction and jobs plan.
Creating jobs is the most important issue here as thousands have been lost. The Niagara region has the highest unemployment rate in the province.
