City Planning Committee approves rental housing license pilot program in parts of Hamilton

Hamilton’s planning committee has voted to move forward with a pilot project that will see rental housing units licensed in wards near McMaster and Mohawk College. It comes as the local real estate association told city councilors today that Hamilton is unfortunately on track to becoming the best place to build illegal rental units.
