While Hamilton has not declared a state of emergency, the city has increased measures to help flatten the curve of the Coronavirus.
The city will not release personal details of the cases but instead speak to trends and we have a break down of the 15 cases.
6 of them are over the age of 60, 5 are related to cruise ship travel, 4 are actually within the same family and one is from community transmission, they cannot trace the point of contact where this case was infected.
Mayor Fred Eisenberger, Paul Johnson and doctor Elizabeth Richardson announced new measures the City of Hamilton is taking to address the COVID-19 outbreak.
