City of Hamilton looking for Snow Angels this winter

Winter can be especially difficult for seniors or people with disabilities, who are sometimes snowed in and unable to leave their homes.
That’s why the city of Hamilton launched the “Snow Angel” program last year. It’s made up of volunteers who are assigned to shovel someone’s sidewalk or a path to their house, so that they aren’t snow-bound. Of course, you don’t need to be an official snow volunteer to help.
Right now, the city isn’t taking on new clients. but they do need 130 people to volunteer. If you’d like to get involved, head to the City of Hamilton website for more information.
