A lone gunman opened fire on Toronto’s Danforth Ave. on Sunday night, killing two people and injuring 13 others.
Police have identified the man as 29-year-old Faisal Hussain.
He was found dead after exchanging fire with police.
It’s not clear if Hussain was killed by police fire or if he took his own life.
His family says he had been dealing with mental health issues prior to the shooting.
A news organization linked to ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders has issued a statement saying there is no evidence to support that claim at this time.
Investigators say they are reviewing all angles including Hussain’s online activity and will be speaking to those who knew him.
