Cineplex preparing to re-open in certain Canadian cities

Cineplex is preparing to re-open its theatres to movie-lovers in Canada this month.

The company is gradually resuming operations, starting with the opening of six Alberta locations at the end of June.

Cineplex says it then hopes to re-open in other Canadian cities on July 3, as government and health authorities allow.

It will introduce new protocols including reserved seating and staggered showtimes to ensure physical distancing.
