Christmas toy drive at the Seaway mall in Welland

It’s beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas at the Seaway Mall in Welland and with the annual Christmas toy-drive underway, shoppers have been in the giving spirit.

For the first time CHCH has partnered with the mall, Welland Community Christmas Toys and the Welland Optimists.

Interested families can register through the Salvation Army in order to receive the toys.

Last year, about 1,000 toys were collected and distributed throughout Welland and the surrounding areas. This year, they’re hoping to beat that number.

Donations are now accepted until December 21. You can add your new, unwrapped toy to Santa’s Express located in the mall’s centre court.
