Christmas giving

After Bayshore Home and Health had their Christmas party cancelled because of yesterday’s storm, they decided to give the leftover food to those in need.

They donated all of the food that would have been served at the party to the Wesley Centre.

Also for a good cause, the Good Shepard held its annual Christmas celebration today.

They prepared enough food for over 2,500 guests in need.

In addition to a traditional turkey dinner, Santa stopped by to speak with the kids.

About 800 volunteers showed up to make today’s celebration a reality.
