Chris Howell day of celebration

Friends and family of Christopher Howell gathered at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in Hamilton today to remember their friend and loved one.

The grade 12 student committed suicide one year ago after years of bullying. People wore rest in peace t-shirts and there was a cake to celebrate his life. His mother Judy hopes that today will serve as a reminder that there are serious consequences to bullying. Organizers hope this will become a national day of remembrance to promote a message of anti-bullying.
