Chinese New Year celebrated in Hamilton

Hundreds of people celebrated the Chinese new year at Hamilton City Hall on Saturday afternoon.

The event featured a senior Tai Chi performance, local artists, dance groups and a fashion show.

The free event was put on by the Chinese Association of Hamilton and local police.

2015 celebrates the year of the sheep. It also marks 45 years of diplomatic relations between China and Canada.
