Child tests positive for COVID-19 at Caledonia day care

One child has tested positive for COVID-19 at the Haldimand-Norfolk REACH child care centre in Caledonia.

The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the centre, located in McKinnon Park high school.

The child is not currently attending the centre and children of the affected class have also been sent home. Children in other classes may continue to attend the centre.

The latest case brings the number of active cases in Haldimand-Norfolk to 24.
