CHCH vet Jim Cooney loses cancer battle

We are sorry to report that a long-time CHCH employee has lost his battle with cancer.

Jim Cooney worked for CHCH for 32 years, until his retirement in 2002. He remained in high demand as a freelance floor manager and producer after his retirement.

Jim was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last summer. His family says he died “surrounded by love” yesterday evening.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bob Kemp Hospice.
