Chatham officer faces charges

A police officer in Chatham has been charged with assault after a suspect was injured during an arrest.

The Special Investigations Unit says a 29 year old man suffered serious injuries to his face while being arrested in September.

Constable Christopher Robb has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.

He’ll make a court appearance in January.
