Charges laid in case of child locked in bedroom

Charges have been laid in a case where a child was locked in his bedroom on New Year’s Day in a Napanee apartment.

A 48 year old Napanee man has been charged with forcible confinement. The 3 year old boy was left alone locked in his room at 1:40 AM on New Year’s Day.

Neighbors could hear the boy screaming for his care giver while he was alone. The child was not physically harmed in the incident.
