A Caledon man has been charged following a deadly car crash last month that killed two people in Halton Hills.

It happened at Trafalgar and 5 Sideroad on July 14th. Police say a Honda Civic carrying four people collided with a tractor trailer, sending it into a nearby corn field.

A Brampton couple was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck and a fourth passenger were treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the Honda, Balvir Dhillon, 56, has been charged with one count of careless driving. He will appear in a Milton courthouse on October 6th.
