Charges laid for arson at Oakville Walmart

A man has been charged with arson after a fire at a Walmart in Oakville.

The blaze started in the automotive area Friday morning at the store on Hayes Boulevard off Dundas St.

Employees had to be evacuated and some were treated for smoke inhalation.

20 year old Jorge Pingel has been arrested and will appear in court next month.
