Charges in Hamilton fire

Police charge man arrested near early Wednesday morning blaze.
Everyone got out safely from a triplex at 121 Ivon Avenue.
As firefighters were dealing with that blaze, someone was trying to break-in to a home a few doors down.
That’s where police took a man on the porch into custody.
30-year-old Gerry Valdez of no fixed address now faces charges of arson and mischief.
