Charges dropped against Niagara cop who shot another officer

Charges have been dropped against a Niagara Police officer who shot a fellow officer at a collision scene about a year ago.
57-year-old Detective Sergeant Shane Donovan was in charge of the collision reconstruction team at Niagara Police when this truly bizarre incident occurred on November 29, 2018.
The Crown told the courts he thoroughly reviewed the evidence and found no reasonable prospect of conviction.
