Charges coming in Copetown crash

Two women are in serious but stable condition after a collision just north of the 403 in Copetown.

The head-on crash happened around 5:30 yesterday afternoon on Highway 52 at Powerline Road. Hamilton Police say two women in their 60’s were taken to hospital in critical condition, but their condition stabilized overnight.

Three other people were also hospitalized. A third vehicle was involved, but no one in it was injured.

Police say alcohol is not a factor. Charges are pending.
