Changes coming to Hamilton’s COVID-19 testing facilities

There are some changes coming in the locations of COVID-19 testing facilities in Hamilton.

The drive-through testing at the Dave Andreychuk arena on the mountain will be closing on Sunday, October 11^th. A new mountain testing facility at Mohawk College will open its doors on October 23^rd.

The new facility will be staffed by St. Josephs Healthcare Hamilton and will do tests through appointments only. During the ten-day gap, the mountain temporary testing centre will be at the St. Joseph’s West 5^th campus with extended hours from 4:30 – 10 p.m. This centre will close when the Mohawk College facility opens on the 23^rd.

The new location will be capable of doing 400 – 500 appointments daily.
