The Grand River Champion of Champions Pow Wow is celebrating 44 years this weekend.

Performers from all around North America are competing at the Ohsweken Speedway near the Six Nations Reserve.

They will be competing for prizes in several categories, including trophies for best traditional and fancy dance.

There are plenty of booths with arts, crafts, and food. It’s an opportunity to learn about the diversity of the Indigenous community.

The event is taking place again Sunday and will open at 10 am.
