The Niagara Falls Humane Society says a cat that was thrown out the window of a car earlier this week in Beamsville is recovering.

John Greer of Niagara SPCA and Humane Society says a neighbour called after seeing the cat being thrown from the window of a car.

The cat suffered small burn marks on its paws but Greer says other than that, “it’s healthy. It looks really healthy.”

The cat was abandoned along Tufford Road in Beamsville around 7 p.m. on Monday. Greer says the person was driving a white “Volkswagon type car.”

The cat will be up for adoption in two weeks but until then the Niagara Falls Humane Society says you can reach out on Facebook for name suggestions.
