A 186-year-old mansion on the escarpment is now the home of a local think tank that vows to breathe life into the heritage building. However, concerns over how the space is being used and who is using the space are leaving some concerned.

Correction: The lease agreement of Chedoke Estate to Cardus is between Cardus and the City of the Hamilton, not the Ontario Heritage Trust. It is a sublease that the City has arranged.
