A man is in hospital with serious injuries after his car crashed into a school in Toronto Monday morning.

Police say the man lost control of his car around 3:30 this morning on Sheppard Avenue near Weston Road.

The driver has severe head injuries and several broken bones.

Police are looking at speed, weather and alcohol as possible factors in the crash.
