Car theft arrest in Brantford

A 19-year-old Ohsweken man faces charges, as part of an ongoing effort targeting the theft of stolen vehicles in the Halton, Hamilton and Brantford areas.

Police arrested George Sault Wednesday in the parking lot of the Galaxy Theatre Plaza in Brantford.

Authorities say he was driving a car that was reported stolen from Hamilton, and say burglary tools were found at the scene.

Sault is scheduled to appear in a Brantford court Thursday.
