Car hits house

There was a rude awakening for a Hamilton family very early Thursday.

A van slammed into their house around 5 am.

The van was heading down the Queen Street hill from Hamilton mountain when it lost control, smashed through a fence and landed against the house.

No one inside the home was hurt, but the driver was treated by paramedics.
